Very friendly welcome. Efficient but laid back service, just what we like.
We had the mid week set menu which was very good indeed.
When back in Manchester we'll definitely go back to try the other menu's.

This is the second time we've been to The Allotment for their 10 course tasting menu.
The food is superb - tasty, interesting and beautifully presented.
The 10 courses leave you feeling full but not stuffed - the portion sizes are perfect.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about every dish,
and the pace at which each course is served is spot on.
A 5 course menu and an a la carte menu are also available,
but I would strongly recommend going for the full 10 courses!
I could not fault a thing was so looking forward to my daughters choice for her birthday Sunday Lunch.
Perfect 3 courses so tasty loved everything especially the hazelnut ice cream .
Please visit this little gem my son in law is a big meat eater but even he could not fault the food or the service.
Happy family we will be back and soon xx
First vegan meal, will not be the last.
The chef is a magician, really talented getting great flavours without using the normal eggs cream etc.
Recommended if vegan, or not. as nice alternative dinner experience.
