It’s the trending hashtag and the new word on everybody’s lips – Veganuary, but what is it?
The official national month in the UK was actually established five years ago but a surge of curious and bold diners in 2018 sky-rocketed the Vegan lifestyle into the public gaze and it’s been one of the hottest topics from 2018 right up ‘til the present moment.
Veganuary is the “New Year New Me” style pledge, where planet and health conscious people are opening their minds (and mouths) to plant-based food and styles of living.
Plant-based living holds compassionate and sustainable living in its principle, but reasons for going green are varied extensively: from animal welfare to cutting down on waste and pollution – there’s hundreds of reasons for people to want to make the switch.
If you can’t cook for peanuts or you just love good food The Times reckon we’re restaurant of the year – if you’re looking to give green a go we’re always here for you.
How can we help? If you’re taking on the challenge in 2019, we’re offering a budget and cuisine-conscious way of wreaking triumph over Veganuary!
Throughout January, we’re offering a delicious three-course set menu for just £20 per person. Our menus are completely vegan, completely gluten-free and we insist you’ve never tasted food this good (not even meat!)
