Christmas menu has landed!

It’s officially December and we are feeling festive! We’re so excited to be settled in our new nook on Lloyd Street in Manchester that we’re taking bookings for Christmas now.

Our three course Christmas menu is a deliciously festive treat and is completely free from dairy, gluten and eggs. Perfect for catching up with friends, a Christmas meal with family or a romantic date.

For your first course our Cranberry and red wine parfait with Maple glazed sweet potato crisps is sure to pique your taste buds and drum up some curiosity for the next course.

Cinnamon spiced carrot soup – you can almost smell the festive spices when you hear the name. A seasonally glorious starter for you festive fanatics, the Cinnamon spiced carrot soup is enough to fill even the grumpiest humbug with Christmas cheer!

In this next course you will taste flavour from cauliflower that you’ve never anticipated how delicious it can really be. Brined cauliflower, smoked and pan fried in an orange reduction served with all the trimmings – submerged for 24-48 hours before eating the Cauliflower absorbs flavour and retains it perfect for dinner time. The smokey nuances add some real zeal to the flavour of dish, creating a beautiful and filling festive main.

The menu is beautifully paired with Pressed apple, clove, pressed in-house at The Allotment. The gorgeous, rich flavour of the fresh apple punches with a zingy flavour and cleanses the pallet leaving a fresh taste on your tongue.

Indulge in a Fermented nut cheese board for the cheese lover and Chocolate truffles for the real sweet tooth. These deliciously decadent truffles are made with a completely innocent ganache with a creamy, full bodied texture.

The Allotment has a lovely, cosy atmosphere that feels very welcoming and familiar on arrival – perfect for Christmas! If you’d like to make a booking for our taster or Christmas Menus please follow the booking instructions on our website.

Merry December!
